Job Description
As a Security Officer - Weekend Healthcare Monitor in Elkton MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients patients visitors and staff by following established security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site personnel and emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare buildings parking areas and the perimeter reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and controlled areas assisting with visitor sign-in and/or badging processes and directing individuals to appropriate locations based on site procedures.
- Complete security-related logs and reports document incidents accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 years of security experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
