Job Description
As a Security Officer - Front Entrance Control in FORT WORTH TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location you will monitor entry points verify credentials manage visitor and vehicle check-in and maintain access logs. You will conduct routine patrols as assigned stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents and communicate clearly with team members and site personnel. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Control access at employee visitor and contractor entry points by verifying identification managing sign-in logs issuing temporary credentials as directed and directing authorized persons to the proper areas.
- Manage vehicle and delivery access by coordinating driver check-in and/or check-out verifying appointment or shipping documentation as required by site policy and communicating with site contacts for routing instructions.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and actions taken and promptly notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility loading areas and perimeter and report hazards suspicious activity and policy violations according to site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
