Job Description
As a Security Officer - Medical Facility Patrol in Delray Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support staff patients and visitors through strong customer service clear communication and timely response to concerns. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner providing clear directions to staff patients and visitors as needed.
- Control access by monitoring entrances checking credentials where required and/or directing visitors to appropriate check-in points in accordance with site procedures.
- Complete detailed reports on incidents patrol observations and unusual activity and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- This position is in a hospital setting where vaccines are required.
- This position is in a hospital setting with a morgue.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- This position may require restraining individuals.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
