What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students staff and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings common areas and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by post assignment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including disturbances suspicious activity medical calls and fire alarms and coordinate with campus partners and/or public responders as directed.
• Control access to designated areas by monitoring entry points verifying authorization when required and directing visitors to appropriate locations while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete detailed reports of patrol activities incidents and policy violations and communicate observations promptly through approved radio and/or phone protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
