What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by following Allied Universal post orders site-specific policies and assigned security-related procedures at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with clinical staff and/or local emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity identify hazards and report maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow verify credentials as required and document visitor and/or vendor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete detailed incident reports and shift logs maintain confidentiality of patient and facility information and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 or more years of security experience.
• Comply with hospital vaccine requirements.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
