As a Security Officer - Neighborhood Rover Patrol in Honolulu HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations communicate clearly with site teams and respond to concerns with strong customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications to site contacts and public responders as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facilities parking areas and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor and respond to alarms access control points and visitor check-in processes verifying credentials and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation including observations from patrols maintenance or hazard concerns and any policy violations and communicate updates to supervisors and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
