Job Summary
Company Background:
We are representing a world-leading logistics solutions provider that is seeking a Senior HSE Specialist for its new start-up plant in Johor Bahru
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the companys compliance with occupational safety and health standards implementing OSHA-related policies and procedures
- Develop implement and optimize safety programs to prevent workplace accidents
- Conduct HIRARC (Hazard Identification Risk Assessment & Risk Control) and lead workplace safety inspections
- Organize and conduct employee safety training to raise safety awareness and improve emergency response capabilities
- Monitor updates in DOSH regulations and ensure timely implementation of regulatory changes
- Investigate and report any workplace accidents or violations providing recommendations to prevent recurrence
- Collaborate with internal teams and external regulatory bodies to ensure the implementation of best safety practices and standards
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety & Health Environmental Science Engineering or any related field
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in HSE preferably in Logistics/Warehouse operations Supply chain Manufacturing or industrial environment
- Must possess valid DOSH Green Book (Registered Safety & Health Officer SHO)
- DOSH registered competent assessor to perform -chemical health risk assessment
- Must hold valid CePSWaM certification
Other info:
- Permanent employment
- Working hours : Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm
- Remuneration package : Basic 13 months salary
