Job Description
As a Security Guard - Healthcare Site - Flexin South Bend IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior corridors lobbies parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Control access to the facility by monitoring entrances verifying credentials as required and directing visitors to appropriate check-in points in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation coordinating with on-site clinical leadership and/or local responders and completing required notifications.
- Document patrol activity incidents and observations in daily logs and incident reports and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
