What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility yard areas and perimeter and document observations according to post orders.
• Monitor access points and traffic flow for employees drivers and visitors helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited activity in accordance with location procedures.
• Complete required reports such as shift activity logs incident documentation and patrol documentation and notify appropriate personnel of hazards and/or maintenance concerns observed during rounds.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
