What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct screening of employees visitors contractors and deliveries as assigned including verifying identification and authorization inspecting packages and belongings as permitted and controlling access at designated entry points.
• Monitor alarms access control systems and/or video surveillance for unusual activity and report concerns according to post orders to help to deter unauthorized access and theft.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner requesting additional support and/or emergency services when needed and documenting actions taken.
• Complete routine reporting such as screening logs incident reports and shift activity reports and communicate observations and handoffs to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• XRay Screening Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Loss Prevention is preferred.
• Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
