As a Security Officer Streaming Campus Patrol Driver in Secaucus NJ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an unarmed driving Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech location you will conduct routine patrols and mobile rounds stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and respond to calls for assistance. You will document observations support access control and loss prevention efforts and deliver customer-focused communication with employees and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients employees and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation requesting assistance from onsite contacts and/or public responders and completing required notifications.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including corridors offices parking areas loading and delivery zones and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and operate access control processes including checking identification and/or visitor credentials verifying authorization managing visitor logs and directing people to appropriate destinations in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrols observations and incidents in daily activity reports and incident reports communicate noteworthy conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership and follow post orders and escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be 21 years of age.
• Have security experience of 5 years.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
