As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Durham NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff patients and visitors with clear communication and responsive customer service while documenting activity using computer and/or tablet tools. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff at a healthcare location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including reporting concerns and coordinating with site contacts and/or first responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas entrances parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and common areas assist with visitor directions and/or wayfinding and support patient and staff flow by observing and documenting security-related concerns.
• Complete required documentation such as incident reports patrol logs and daily activity logs and communicate status updates to supervisors and/or site leadership per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
