Job Description
As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Unit in Cambridge MA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a healthcare location where your presence and professionalism help maintain an orderly environment. You will conduct routine patrols monitor assigned areas document and report concerns and assist staff and visitors with clear communication and customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior corridors clinical and administrative areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards.
- Monitor access points and visitor flow verify identification and/or authorization as required and assist with directing individuals to appropriate departments or waiting areas.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and/or medical emergencies in a calm problem-solving manner requesting additional resources when needed and helping to maintain order until responders arrive.
- Complete accurate reports and logs communicate pertinent information during shift turnover and notify site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision of unusual events maintenance issues and policy concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 years of security-related experience.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
