As a Security Officer - Foot Patrol in Cairo GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents and support operations through clear communication and professional customer service. You will document observations respond to security-related concerns and collaborate with site teams. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses loading docks parking areas and perimeter points; monitor for suspicious activity and conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access.
• Control access at entrances gates and delivery areas by verifying identification assisting with driver check-in and/or check-out and maintaining visitor truck and contractor logs per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; communicate updates to site contacts Allied Universal supervision and/or public responders when needed.
• Complete detailed reports and documentation of patrols incidents and policy violations; support loss prevention efforts by observing shipping and receiving activity and reporting irregularities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
