Job Description
As a Security Officer - Perimeter Watch in Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control respond to concerns and provide professional customer service and clear communication with staff and visitors. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients employees and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures government facility policies and established emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner providing timely notifications to site leadership and/or public agency partners as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings parking areas and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Support access control operations by monitoring entry points verifying identification and/or authorization issuing visitor directions and documenting unusual activity in accordance with site requirements.
- Complete detailed written reports and logs document incident details and use appropriate communication systems to relay information to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 years of security-related experience.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
