As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Carson City NV you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors and personnel at a government location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related hazards.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site representatives and/or local public resources as needed.
- Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification monitoring entry points and observing for suspicious behavior consistent with post orders.
- Complete detailed incident reports patrol logs and shift documentation and communicate timely updates via radio and/or phone in accordance with site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police training program or equivalent.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
