Job Description
As a Security Officer - Bank Perimeter Rover in Charlotte NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas entrances ATM and lobby spaces and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity assist with directions and general inquiries and help maintain orderly traffic flow in and around the location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating to Allied Universal leadership and/or local emergency services as needed.
- Document patrols incidents and observations in written reports and logs according to post orders and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 years combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience OR a college degree.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
