As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Rover in Duncan SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and access control activity document observations and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors contractors and employees by following Allied Universal procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner communicating updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas offices parking lots and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related or operational concerns.
• Monitor access points and support access control activities such as verifying identification logging entries and exits and directing deliveries and service providers to the proper location.
• Complete detailed reports for patrol findings incidents and unusual observations and escalate maintenance hazards equipment issues and policy violations through the appropriate channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
