Job Description
As a Security Officer High Risein Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail mall location you will monitor and patrol common areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet shoppers and staff respond to questions and concerns and communicate clearly with your team and local partners. At Allied Universal you will be part of a caring agile crew that delivers through teamwork and always acts with integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests and tenants by following Allied Universal security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents guest concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating to management and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail common areas entrances parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual behavior policy violations and/or hazards and communicate findings to the appropriate contacts.
- Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports and assist with directing guests supporting lost and found processes and coordinating with mall operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
