$20.84 per hour

Overnight shifts available.
Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and Sunday available.
As a Security Officer - Incident Response Patrol in Rialto CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points respond to reports and/or alarms and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering strong customer service. You will bring reliability agility and integrity to a team that puts people first.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors employees and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including providing directions coordinating with site personnel and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when required.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points check identification and/or credentials as required manage visitor entry processes and help to maintain orderly flow of foot and vehicle traffic.
- Document patrol activities incidents and observations in written reports and logs and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 2 years law enforcement/military police/corrections experience.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
