What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors tenants employees and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation assisting with access issues and requesting additional resources as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas including docks parking areas and perimeter points while watching for conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and receiving and shipping areas by observing traffic flow verifying authorization when required and documenting unusual activity per post orders.
• Complete detailed reports on patrol activity incidents and observed conditions and communicate security-related information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
