As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Petaluma CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas stay visible to help to deter incidents and respond to security-related concerns with clear communication. You will complete routine rounds support access control expectations and deliver customer service to employees and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct routine and random patrols of buildings parking areas and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance access and/or operational concerns.
• Monitor access points verify credentials manage visitor check-in and coordinate escorts for authorized guests vendors and/or deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and/or public emergency services when required.
• Complete detailed documentation including patrol logs incident reports and shift activity reports and communicate notable observations to on-site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
