What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents guests and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a residential apartment community.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting observations and notifying property management and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings amenities parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and common areas verifying credentials when required addressing resident and guest questions and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations per site guidelines.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports maintain accurate shift logs and communicate key information to oncoming personnel and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 6 months of security experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
