Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Access Control in Oxnard CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. What Youll Do:
- Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry within the manufacturing and industrial location.
- Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises following site-specific protocols.
- Provide customer service by assisting employees visitors and contractors with access-related inquiries and procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following Allied Universal protocols and client site instructions.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
- Maintain detailed records of access control activities incidents and observations as required by site policies.
- Support emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
