Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Full-Time Patrol Guardin Miami FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer supporting a government location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to situations with calm clear communication. You will document activities assist staff and visitors with professional customer service and represent a team that is agile reliable innovative and committed to integrity and teamwork.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation summoning appropriate assistance and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Control access at designated points by verifying identification screening visitors and contractors per post orders and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
- Complete daily activity logs incident reports and other required documentation and communicate key observations to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associates degree and/or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
- A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
- Experience with handcuffs pepper spray and/or baton is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
