As a Security Officer - Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in San Jose CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location you will conduct routine patrols remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents support access points and respond to calls for service with clear communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license in line with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to onsite staff contractors and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and conduct identity verification visitor registration and badge control in support of a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior spaces and the exterior perimeter documenting observations and reporting maintenance hazards suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
• Complete detailed shift logs and incident reports and maintain awareness of key systems such as CCTV alarms and/or access control to support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
