Job Description
As a Security Guard - Flex Armed Patrol in Tacoma WA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site personnel and public responders when required.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards.
- Control access to restricted areas monitor visitor and vendor entry verify identification and document access activity per site requirements.
- Carry and handle assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal post orders licensing requirements and training including completing required reports and logs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
- Have 1 Years Law Enforcement Experience OR 2 Years Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3 Years Security Experience.
- CPR Certification is preferred.
- Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
