Job Description
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Cleared Patrol in Boulder CO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge checks respond to reports and document activity with clear communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout buildings production areas parking lots and perimeter zones noting unusual activity and reporting concerns per post orders.
- Monitor access points and controlled areas verify authorization as required and assist with visitor processing and/or badge checks in accordance with site policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed and documenting actions taken.
- Complete routine documentation such as shift logs incident reports and patrol activity records and communicate security-related observations to the Allied Universal supervisor and site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
