Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Corporate Office in Boston MA
Monday Tuesday and Wednesday 8 AM - 8 PM
Starting Pay is $21.45 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available
As a Security Officer in Cambridge MA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location as an armed patrol officer conducting routine patrols maintaining a highly visible presence and assisting with access control and visitor guidance. You will document and report security-related concerns communicate clearly with teams and site partners and respond to incidents with calm professionalism. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a tech and media location.
- Carry and maintain assigned duty weapon and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements post orders and Allied Universal policies.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings parking areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and security-related systems such as cameras alarms and visitor management tools; verify identification and direct individuals according to site policy.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner document observations and actions in written reports and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
