Job Description
As a Security Officer - TWIC Patrol in Savannah GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location you will monitor and patrol key areas conduct routine rounds support access points and help to spot and report unusual activity. You will stay highly visible provide clear communication and deliver customer service that builds trust with site teams and visitors. You will act with integrity collaborate through teamwork and bring an agile reliable and innovative approach each day.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff contractors and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial petrochemical location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings process areas staging yards and perimeter routes noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns per post orders.
- Control access at gates and designated entry points by verifying identification authorizations and visitor logs and directing traffic flow according to site rules.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating notifications and assisting with site evacuations spill response notifications and/or severe weather actions as directed.
- Operate and monitor surveillance alarm and/or communications systems complete detailed activity and incident reports and maintain required documentation for shifts and patrols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Have a TSA issued TWIC.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
