What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants employees contractors and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the commercial property including interior common areas exterior grounds parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas verify identification and/or credentials as required and assist with visitor and contractor check-in and/or routing according to site procedures.
• Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner communicate updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership and assist with scene control until additional resources arrive.
• Complete detailed reports and logs document incidents inspections and patrol activity and communicate observations and follow-up needs during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
