What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures financial institution location policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Maintain an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal policies site-specific post orders and applicable laws and/or licensing requirements including appropriate handling and storage of issued equipment.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and actions taken per site protocol.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including entrances ATM areas parking areas and perimeter routes to help to identify unusual activity and/or conditions.
- Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification monitoring visitor and vendor entry and coordinating with on-site personnel during deliveries opening and/or closing routines and other operational needs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of armed security law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
