Job Summary
Job Title: MS/Tele Float RN
Facility/Unit: Float Pool (MS/Tele/PCU/Rehab)
Shift: Night Shift
Hours: 36 Hours Weekly
Schedule: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM Weekends/Holidays/Call Required 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $59/hr
Type: Contract (Travel Required)
We are seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry Float Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care across multiple acute care units. The ideal candidate will be comfortable floating between Med-Surg Telemetry PCU and Acute Inpatient Rehab units and managing a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities-
Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients

Float to assigned units including PCU and inpatient rehab as needed

Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to clinical changes

Administer and titrate drips including heparin magnesium and potassium riders

Perform thorough patient assessments and care planning

Document accurately in Meditech

Support charge nurse responsibilities when required

Maintain patient safety and safe patient handling practices

Current New York RN license required

Minimum 2 years MS/Tele experience

At least one successful travel assignment required (no first-time travelers)

PCU experience highly preferred
-
BLS and ACLS required

Meditech experience required

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
