Job Description

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and as an integral member of the Maintenance and Engineering team the primary purpose of this role is to safely and effectively maintain heavy earth moving equipment to a standard and quality required to meet target outputs.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork personal commitment and application of the company values.

• Providing mechanical maintenance and services.

• Trouble shooting and the ability to located and solve unplanned breakdowns with attention to detail and in a timely manner.

• Performing preventative maintenance.

About you:

• Possess a AUR31220 - Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (Mobile Plant Equipment) or an equivalent qualification.

• Have previous experience working on heavy earth moving equipment.

• Able to work both autonomously and as a part of a team.

This role is a wonderful opportunity for you no matter your circumstance. We are only a one and quarter hour drive from the beautiful Mackay hinterland and a two- and half-hour drive from Airlie Beach and the Whitsunday Islands and have a diverse group of people at our operation commuting from multiple locations in Queensland such as Rockhampton and Townsville to name a few.
