Third in Charge Up toHours per week
This Third in Charge role sits at the heart of a well-established nursery rated Good by Ofsted. Youll work closely with the Nursery Manager and Deputy combining hands-on room leadership with wider responsibility for day-to-day operations and standards across the setting.
The nursery is based in a beautiful purpose-designed nursery with a private garden and Forest School creating a lively engaging learning environment that balances structure with a warm homely feel.
Before You Apply
- This role requires recent experience as a room leader or Third in Charge (or above) in an Early Years setting.
- You must hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
Key Job Details
- Salary: Up to 35000 per year (depending on experience)
- Hours: 40 hours per week full time
- Contract: Permanent
- Setting: Early Years nursery (3 months to 5 years)
- Ofsted rating: Good

What Youll Need

- Lead a room while maintaining oversight of practice across the setting

- Act as a senior decision-maker in the absence of the Manager or Deputy
- Support staff performance ratios and daily organisation
- Maintain a safe engaging learning environment for children and staff
