Responsibilities:
- Execute work specified on repair orders efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
- Test-drive vehicles and assess components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose maintain and repair automotive systems including engines transmissions electrical systems steering suspension brakes and air conditioning.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services needed providing estimates for extra repairs.
- Carry out warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma GED or equivalent.
- One year or more of experience in basic car care is helpful but not required.
- Customer-focused attitude and ability to thrive in a team environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and a valid drivers license.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a desire to build long-term trust and relationships with customers.
- Willingness to work Saturdays.
