Algorithm Engineer Medical Imaging (Bedford MA)

We are seeking a highly motivated Algorithm Engineer to design implement and validate algorithms that strengthen Philips imaging capabilities across multiple clinical modalities to bring cuttingedge imaging solutions from concept to deployment.

Your role:

• Collaborate with clinical engineering and data science teams to define imagingrelated algorithmic solutions. Work closely with product managers clinical partners and QA to present updates and technical findings.

• Design implement and test imageprocessing algorithms in Python C and C while supporting deployment and integration with a focus on software quality. Troubleshoot and debug performance issues as needed.

• Source curate and annotate medical imaging datasets to support model development. Use clinical and phantom data to train and validate segmentation classification and reconstruction models.

• Document code algorithm designs and validation methods to ensure transparency and reproducibility. Contribute to regulatory documentation and qualityassurance workflows related to algorithm development.

• Explore opportunities to learn GPU/CUDA optimization techniques. Demonstrate continuous improvement and actively share knowledge across teams.

Youre the right fit if:

• You earned a Masters or Ph.D. in engineering computer science physics mathematics or biomedical imaging. Exposure to medical imaging or biological signals is a plus.

• You have experience developing algorithms using Python and/or C/C as well as familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. Experience with GPU/CUDA programming or parallel computing frameworks is a strong plus.

• You have strong knowledge of signal or imageprocessing concepts and numerical methods.

• You have experience quantitatively validating algorithm performance using imaging datasets.

• You leverage your problemsolving criticalthinking and debugging abilities along with your clear written and verbal communication skills. You have attention to detail especially in documenting code and technical decisions.

• You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

How we work together:

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities 5 days per week. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.

This is an onsite role.

Philips Transparency Details:

The pay range for this position in MA is $128000 to $205000

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills experience business needs geographical location and internal equity.

In addition other compensation such as an annual incentive bonus sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
