Job Summary

Job Description:

We are looking for a Help Desk Technician to join our team at Lee Enterprises. As a leading provider of high-quality local news and information we are seeking a dedicated individual to provide technical support to our employees.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level contact and support for technical issues and escalate to the appropriate team member if needed
  • Assist employees with hardware and software issues including troubleshooting installation and maintenance
  • Set up and configure new equipment and software for users
  • Maintain accurate records of technical issues and solutions
  • Ensure all technical equipment is in good working condition
  • Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware software and operating systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

Desired Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role
  • Experience with customer service and remote support tools

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: $35000 - $45000 per year
  • Benefit package included
