Job Summary
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage mechanical BIM models from IFC design stage through to final As-Built.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical structural architectural etc.) to ensure design alignment and resolve clashes.
- Upgrade models to LOD 400 for fabrication and detailed coordination.
- Extract and produce precise 2D Shop Drawings as required by the project.
- Update the model to LOD 500 using site redlines for accurate as-built documentation.
- Implement COBie data as per client and project requirements.
- Follow and maintain standardized BIM documentation workflows ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout all project phase
Key Qualifications :
- Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of experience in BIM modeling for mechanical systems in construction or engineering projects.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP) Navisworks and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with BIM execution plans model coordination techniques and clash detection.
- Knowledge of COBie standards and data structuring within BIM models.
- Ability to interpret and apply redlines and site modifications accurately.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
