Job Summary
Title: Electrical Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate activities of electricians and electrical technicians on construction or maintenance projects.
Review electrical plans drawings and specifications to ensure correct execution.
Ensure timely installation testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues to avoid project delays.
Conduct regular inspections and ensure quality and safety standards are maintained always.
Maintain proper documentation of work progress materials and incidents.
Liaise with project managers engineers and other trades to coordinate electrical tasks.
Monitor inventory of electrical tools and materials; raise requisitions as needed.
Ensure compliance with local electrical codes health & safety regulations and company policies.
Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and technicians.
Essential Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Valid Electrical Supervisor License (if required by local regulations).
Certification in electrical safety practices is an added advantage.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of electrical systems tools and installation techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and electrical schematics.
Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with HSE standards and risk assessments.
Effective communication skills in English (and local language if applicable).
Proficiency in using MS Office and project tracking software is a plus.
