Key Responsibilities
As the Sales Manager you will lead sales strategy and team performance to drive revenue growth market share and profitability within the Calgary territory. Your responsibilities will include:
Sales Strategy & Performance Leadership:
o Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies including quotas forecasting budgeting and gross margin planning.
o Lead quarterly and annual sales planning initiatives to optimize territory performance and market share growth.
Team Development & Leadership:
o Recruit coach and mentor Territory Managers and sales support staff to build a high-performing accountable sales team.
o Conduct regular performance reviews sales meetings and development planning to ensure continuous improvement and engagement.
Market & Customer Development:
o Build and strengthen relationships with key customers partners and internal departments including Parts and Service.
o Identify new market segments and growth opportunities through competitive analysis industry awareness and strategic account development.
Operational & Financial Oversight:
o Oversee inventory mix asset management pricing effectiveness and sales reporting to support profitability goals.
o Collaborate with Credit Services and Operations to manage receivables forecasting accuracy and overall financial performance.
Brand & Industry Representation:
o Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals and presentations.
o Represent the organization at trade shows conventions and industry events while reinforcing consistent brand messaging.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role candidates should demonstrate the following:
Education & Experience:
o A degree in Business Marketing or a related field is considered an asset.
o 7 years of direct sales experience or 35 years in a sales management capacity preferably within heavy equipment transportation or related industries.
Technical Skills:
o Strong proficiency in sales forecasting budgeting and financial performance analysis.
o Experience managing inventory strategy pricing structures and CRM/reporting systems is an asset.

o Proven leadership ability with strong coaching and team development skills.
o Excellent relationship-building capabilities with customers partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
