Are you ready to turn complex Medical data into decisions that reach patients faster In this role you will transform fragmented datasets into trusted insight products that Medical leaders use to act with confidence. Your work will give clarity to urgent questions standardize critical metrics and build the analytics backbone that powers better outcomes.

You will join a fast-moving collaborative team focused on becoming a tech-enabled enterprise. By driving automation crafting scalable data models and crafting interactive Power BI reports you will remove friction and increase consistency. You will also help the organization operate more efficiently. Will you take ownership of the data designs and dashboards that leaders rely on every week to guide strategy

Accountabilities:

  • Medical Reporting and Analytics: Design and run custom and standard reports using Excel Power Query SQL/Python; perform rapid ad hoc analyses that answer urgent Medical questions and inform timely decisions.

  • Create robust and reusable data models across various sources. Develop intuitive Power BI dashboards with DAX that align to standard Medical benchmarks. This allows consistent performance tracking.

  • Automation and Ingestion: Automate the capture and integration of manual and external datasets outside core hubs to create repeatable low-touch reporting and analytics pipelines.

  • Data Design and Decisions: Own schema transformation and calculation choices to ensure scalability performance and maintainability as demand and data volumes grow.

  • Data Quality and Consistency: Proactively monitor data quality safeguard global data integrity and drive consistent reporting; surface issues early and coordinate resolution with partner teams.

  • Rules Validation and Conflict Resolution: Identify and source datasets to validate business rules and requirements; resolve conflicts within and across systems to maintain a single source of truth.

  • Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback identify requirements and propose new capabilities that elevate reporting platforms and metric maturity over time.

  • Platform Support: Support Medical platforms and data products to ensure accuracy integrity and reliable refreshes that collaborators can trust.

  • Collaborator Collaboration: Partner with Medical and multi-functional teams to tailor dashboards and reports to specific needs drive adoption and embed data-driven decision-making.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Education: Quantitative bachelors degree (Engineering Statistics Applied Math Computer Science Data Science Economics or related).

  • 5 years of experience.

  • Analytics and BI: Proficient with Power BI (data modelling DAX visuals) Excel/Power Query and SQL; solid understanding of Python for data wrangling/automation.

  • Data governance and quality: Good understanding of data quality practices lineage and documentation to ensure integrity and reproducibility.

  • Communication: Superb communication and interaction with involved parties; ability to translate Medical needs into clear technical requirements and deliver concise insights.

  • Ways of working: Ability to define user stories and acceptance criteria; collaborate in agile sprints; advocate for usercentric design in analytics products.

  • Problem solving: Demonstrated ability to investigate data issues reconcile discrepancies and produce actionable recommendations

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Advanced tooling: Experience with Databricks AWS S3/Redshift (or similar cloud data platforms) and Power Apps for light workflow enablement or troubleshooting.

  • Data engineering basics: Experience building data models from multiple sources/tables; familiarity with data pipelines and scheduling for automated refresh.

  • Domain exposure: Understanding of Medical/Scientific data domains and important metrics; familiarity with Veeva/Medical platforms and enterprise data hubs.

  • Standards and semantics: Exposure to metric standardisation taxonomy/ontology usage or semantic models to support consistent reporting.

  • Process excellence: Experience partnering with multiple collaborators (Medical Commercial IT) and third-party providers; comfort with compliance-aware analytics practices.
