Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of maintenance on parts pumps presses motors systems and related production equipment; exhibit a working knowledge of multiple skilled trade areas such as electronics electrical HVAC telecommunications hydraulics compressed air systems plumbing pipefitting and related areas
- Install program maintain troubleshoot and repair machines and equipment in our facilities focusing on Temperature controllers/PLCs and computer-based logic
- Serve as an expert in troubleshooting and diagnosing problems and performing maintenance in a significant number of equipment families
- Work with internal customers to provide system and process improvement recommend changes to current machinery or processes and update operations
- Complete work orders and paperwork regarding daily maintenance and repair duties; may review the work or documentation of other maintenance staff on projects
- Assist with inspecting the plant and related facilities for mechanical and equipment problems review and examine areas and determine appropriate action(s); assist with the selection and direction provided to contractors
- Read and interpret blueprints equipment manuals; develop methods and requirements to repair and maintain equipment; adapt methods where appropriate; provide assistance to other staff to understand requirements
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and Minco operating policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment and efficient operations
- Utilize tools materials and equipment according to safety and operational principles and practices; may handle and label hazardous waste or materials based on area of assignment
- Communicate with production quality control warehousing and other departments to maintain a safe and effective environment and to ensure quality products
- Serve as a lead to staff to include assigning and monitoring work training and providing direction.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Five plus years of technical and advanced controls experience and/or related experience in a manufacturing environment
- High school graduate or equivalent education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) highly preferred
- Completion of an Apprenticeship or associates degree is preferred
- Working knowledge of temperature controllers/ PLCs and computer-based logic
- An understanding of multiple skilled trade areas such as electronics electrical HVAC telecommunications hydraulics compressed air systems plumbing pipefitting and related areas.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints manuals specifications and documentation
- Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment failure and problems
- Able to use power tools equipment and machinery in areas of specialization
- Able to prioritize assign work and train others as needed
- Able to communicate with other departments to solve process and operational problems
- Able to handle and label hazardous materials based on area of assignment
- Strong track record of ensuring compliance with applicable safety and operational guidelines policies and procedures
- Basic computer skills

Pay Range: $27- $39 Hourly
This position is a regular full-time position located in our headquarters in Fridley Minnesota.
