Education
Other Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required Or
Associates Degree preferred
Experience
2 Years experience in CT Req and
hospital experience Pref
2 years of CT experience strongly preferred
Licenses and Certifications
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R Upon Hire Req And
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT Upon Hire Req And
GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist either by the TDH or TMB Upon Hire Req And
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
What You Will Do
Staff supervision and coordination of daily department activities
Collaborates with the technical staff in organizing and directing department work flow.
Evaluates technical skills and schedules staff appropriately to include call and holidays. Provides adequate staff coverage including vacation schedules absenteeism and turnover.
Quality Standards
Monitors compliance for accreditation and regulatory agencies and hospital and department standards for safety infection control department aesthetics and equipment performance.
Monitors staff use of technique charts or protocols patient documentation reviewing films with technologists and advising staff on improvements

Uses multidisciplinary team-oriented actions
Assesses and recognizes the patients emotional physical developmental cognitive and psychosocial conditions
Equipment Operation and Maintenance
Adjusts technical factors to produce quality imaging
Operates cares for and maintains equipment
Professional Accountability and Partnership
Maintains and enhances technical skills and technology advancement
Performs any assignment deemed necessary by supervisor
