Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Digital Regulation Legal Counsel (f/m) to join our Digital Regulatory Legal Affairs department based in Toulouse France or in Hamburg Germany.

You will be part of an international team of legal experts and DPOs ensuring the highest level of digital ethics and compliance for the group. As part of the Digital Regulatory Legal Affairs department you will be involved in implementing Airbus privacy artificial intelligence and Data Act compliance programs aiming to ensure the highest level of digital ethics and compliance for the a dynamic and ever-evolving environment your expertise will have a direct impact on the companys business operations.

Your challenges:

  • Oversee the mapping of AI systems and personal data processing to ensure all regulatory records and registries remain accurate and up-to-date.

  • Lead support and validate formal risk assessments (DPIA AI Act compliance etc.) to ensure digital projects meet legal requirements.

  • Contribute to the creation and update of internal digital regulation policies operational processes and compliance documentation.

  • Provide legal expertise during contract negotiations and manage operational incidents such as data breaches and data subject access requests (DSARs).

  • Conduct internal digital regulation audits and design training programs to promote a culture of digital ethics and compliance across the group.

Your boarding pass:

  • Background in specializing in ICT Digital Intellectual Property or Business Law with a digital focus.

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as a Digital Regulatory Lawyer or Legal Counsel ideally within a law firm or a large international group in a regulated sector.

  • Technical expertise :Comprehensive mastery of European regulations (GDPR AI Act Data Act NIS2) and familiarity with IT/AI technologies and international legal frameworks.

  • Negotiation-level English is mandatory; proficiency in French or German would be a strong advantage for this international role.

  • Soft skill : A pragmatic solution-oriented approach with the ability to manage priorities under pressure and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
