About the Job
Today we have an opportunity for you to join us as a General Labourer on our afternoon shift at our Woodington Systems Inc. Shop in Niagara Falls to help ensure we maintain a tidy and efficient operation. Your attention to detail and ability to understand how equipment operates will be the key to your success in this role. You will provide a variety of job skills and duties to support site operations.
This is a full-time unionized role reporting to the Operations Supervisor. The hours of this position are based on 42.5 hours per week with a starting hourly rate of $24.57 increasing to $26.09 after 90 days. On top of salary compensation for this role also includes an outstanding benefits and pension package.
What Youll Be Doing
- Washing all WSI trucks to ensure they are clean and well maintained.
- Working to maintain the facility and grounds including such duties as cleaning sweeping controlling odours and occasionally painting.
Heres What You Need
- AZ/DZ License considered an asset.
- Passion for Health and Safety and Environmental Performance.
- Good communication skills - able to work with diverse personalities.
- Excellent customer service including courtesy tact and diplomacy.
- Capacity to follow directives and fulfill requests.
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Commercial Vehicle Wheel Service Certification is Preferred.
