About the opportunity

We are currently seeking an efficient and professionalFood Services Assistantto join our Food Services Team at ourMoran Engadine home nested in a family oriented suburb in southern Sydney.

Monday to Friday - 7:00AM to 2:30PM.

You will work with driven and diverse people in modern facilities where you will be enabled to develop your skills.

You will work with a great team of dedicated people and your contribution will make a difference to our residents enjoyment of their life every day. Moran offers a rewarding work environment consisting of modern facilities and equipment.

Key Duties:

  • Plating food at mealtimes
  • Preparing food under the direction of Chef
  • Keeping your assigned work area clean ready for handover to the next shift
  • Restocking supplies and receive goods
  • Recording temperatures complete checklists
  • Maintaining personal hygiene standards
  • Working as a member of the Food Services teams

Skills/Requirements:

  • Interested in food nutrition or general well-being and their benefits
  • Interested in working as part of a team in a kitchen environment
  • A person who takes pride in what they do
  • Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate highly desirable
  • Must have a valid work permit and a current police check
  • CurrentInfluenza and COVID-19 vaccination including booster
