Position Summary
The Sustainability and Resilience Senior Technical Lead at EnviroScience is responsible for leading the development implementation and evaluation of strategies that enhance the environmental social and operational sustainability and resilience of key clients. This role works cross-functionally to embed sustainable practices into client operations supply chains infrastructure and corporate governance ensuring long-term environmental stewardship and organizational adaptability in the face of climate and economic risks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability and resilience strategy aligned with client goals and regulatory requirements.
- Identify risks and opportunities related to climate change resource use and socio-economic trends.
- Manage budgets timelines and reporting for sustainability projects.
- Produce high-quality documentation that clearly conveys scopes that extend from environmental compliance regulations technical data and sustainability reporting guidelines.
- Provide business development and sales support in growing Sustainability Service Line
- Create and review project proposals scopes of work and budgets for sustainability projects.
- Engage with stakeholders including regulators community organizations suppliers and investors.
- Collaborate with clients and project team (procurement operations facilities) to integrate sustainability into daily operations.
- Stay informed of industry trends emerging technologies and policy changes.
- Provide mentorship and training of staff to enhance their skills and knowledge of sustainability initiatives and compliance projects ensuring timelines and meeting budgets.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: B.S. in Sustainability Environmental Science Engineering Urban Planning or a related field.
- Experience: 8 years of professional experience in sustainability climate resilience or environmental management with a track record of leading successful projects.
- Project management experience with the ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 10 years of experience in sustainability climate resilience or environmental management.
- Expertise working with or within environmental regulatory agencies.
- Excellent communication analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Expertise in developing and managing sustainability projects
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and mentoring teams.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and sustainability reporting software is a plus.
- Experience in the preparation of project specifications and bid documents is a plus.

Work Environment
We enjoy and value collaboration as a team and expect excellent communication skills from the candidate. Teamwork is anticipated through face-to-face collaboration with staff but will also need to occur through many phone and electronic conversions. Work will consist of in-office time to collaborate with managers and staff.
This candidate is expected to come into the Stow office and project sites with 65 miles of office daily to assist staff and project workload. Remote work and working from home will occur as needed and with pre-approval from their manager. Standard office equipment and office space will be provided. For any allowable remote work uninterrupted home-based internet is a must to attend and host video calls along with a minimum bandwidth speed of 20 Mbps.

Supervisor Responsibilities:
Physical Requirements:
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 lbs.
- Communication with others to exchange information.
- Working outdoors in all kinds of weather as necessary for project(s).
- Walking for periods of time including maneuvering uneven uphill and downhill terrain project-specific.
Travel Requirements: Candidate should be able to periodically assist with field assignments when needed. Occasional overnight travel may be necessary on a project-specific basis.
