Job Summary

An established operation is seeking a qualified individual with strong technical knowledge and a disciplined approach to maintenance compliance and safety. This role requires a hands-on professional who can work independently diagnose faults under pressure and contribute to the reliable operation of electrical systems on site.

Requirements

Qualified Electrician (Trade Test Certificate : Section 13)
Minimum of 2 years experience as a qualified Electrician
Valid Drivers License
Must be able to read write and communicate effectively in English
Must be prepared to work shifts overtime and standby as required
Medically fit to work on a mine and able to pass an Occupational Medical
Strong understanding of electrical safety tools and equipment
Ability to interpret technical drawings diagrams and electrical schematics

Responsibilities

Perform electrical installations maintenance and repairs on mining-related equipment and infrastructure.
Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting on electrical systems to ensure minimal downtime.
Carry out inspections testing and servicing as per operational and safety standards.
Ensure all electrical work complies with statutory requirements and site-specific procedures.
Complete job cards maintenance logs and reporting documentation accurately.
Work closely with the maintenance team to plan tasks and uphold continuous improvement.
Maintain a clean safe working environment and strictly follow safety protocols.
