Job Summary
Responsible for optimizing end-to-end electronics manufacturing operations including PCBA (SMT/THT) final assembly testing and packaging. Drives process efficiency automation initiatives capacity planning and continuous improvement to improve productivity quality and cost performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize SMT THT assembly testing and packaging processes
- Perform line balancing time studies and workflow optimization
- Improve OEE throughput cycle time and first-pass yield
- Identify and implement automation opportunities (fixtures robotics automated test material flow)
- Support NPI and define efficient production flows
- Develop and improve production layouts
- Analyze scrap rework and defect trends
- Establish and monitor KPIs
- Collaborate with Engineering Quality and Production teams
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing (PCBA assembly)
- Knowledge of SMT/THT processes and IPC standards
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and automation projects
- Strong data analysis skills (Excel; ERP/MES experience preferred)

Salary: 94000 - 108000 CAD
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors.
